How to pack a healthy lunchbox with food from the supermarket.

We aim to support small businesses where possible AND reduce packaging waste as well. Easy ‘lunchbox’ foods from the supermarket are often in individual wrappers, so we’ve tried our best to find alternatives where possible. Unfortunately, many items, including fruits, are packaged in double plastic. Let’s keep advocating to our supermarkets for change in this area. 💕

Our goal with today’s lunchbox shares is to highlight the tasty goodness that can be found in bigger supermarkets (all who have ‘click and collect’ or delivery services running), as a way of assisting with online orders, quick shops, and easy-lunch inspiration.

We know many people are working/schooling at home right now.

It may feel comforting - and save you time - to keep the routine of making a lunch every day for you/your kids.”

Alice here… Hi!
These are AMAZING options for swaps (so grateful for Hazzie and her lunchbox Ninja skills right now!).
Hayley has balanced the macro nutrients in this lunchbox really well. Protein, carbs and fats. Fat’s are my personal fave and super important for brains, immune-system, gut, for the uptake of fat-soluble vitamins A,E,D,K, and for blood-glucose regulation which also = mood, emotional support. Love these ideas.

Also for full disclosure, we aren’t sponsored or affiliated with any of the brands we are sharing today. But Kudos to all of them for helping us making natural/better choices.

We are getting closer to launching the Smug membership so if you have yet to download your free Smug Mummy eBook for recipes and inspo (and get in line for the next free eBook, Smug Lunches, to be delivered this week… (!!!!), then make sure you click the link in the bio to get your book!
